Background: Innovative & established eCommerce company within a niche Retail space seeks a Senior Analyst to join its Strategic Business Analysis & Forecasting group. Senior Analyst will perform data analysis to continuously improve customer experience and operational business planning initiatives.

What Will You Do:

• Audit data and analysis deliverables to ensure stakeholders have the right metrics and business insights
• Build dashboards that visualize critical business KPI and automate the BI process once reports are approved by stakeholders
• Develop accurate demand forecasts leveraging historical customer purchase data, current consumer trends, promotional activity, economic trends, seasonality
• Analyze data to detect patterns, trends, anomalies & correlations and identify areas of opportunity and/or are a catalyst to strategy development
• Improve demand planning processes, enhance forecasting accuracy, and optimize inventory management
• Analyze Enterprise-wide data to improve business planning decisions i.e. demand projections, staff and fulfillment planning
• Provide data storytelling, utilize analytical findings to influence senior leadership, take analytical findings and infuse them into short / long term business strategies

• Full-time role that is hybrid (3X's in office and rest WFH)
• Role is in the NYC metro area
• Individual contributor role that is hands-on + strategic

Responsibilities/Experience:

• ECommerce OR operations analytics background is a plus
• SQL, Tableau, or Power BI skills are a NICE to have
• Client facing, motivated, strategic, highly analytical, articulate, great communication
• MUST have a Bachelors or a Master’s degree
• Forecasting experience is a MUST
• Exceptional critical thinking skills, focused on data-driven insights
