Requirements

About the role:

The role is a fixed term contract for 12 months. We are seeking an individual who will be expected to develop, build and deliver key financial models that can support Novata’s financial decisions. The individual should have an excellent attention to detail and analytical mindset, someone who is naturally mathematical and someone who is a master of Microsoft Excel and online financial modeling tools such as Google Sheets.

As the Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst , your responsibilities will include:

• Regularly review and improve financial models and reporting
• Build & maintain cashflow models to assist with internal and external reporting, as well as important decision making processes
• Analyze large amounts of data using Microsoft Excel
• Forecast across a broad range of financial data to assist with strategic planning
• Support company financial modeling in Excel and Google Sheets
• Assist the CFO through capital raising process
• Maintaining resource data via excel model

Requirements:

• Strong time management skills, happy to work to deadlines
• Excellent mathematical and numerical skills
• Confident Excel modeler
• Previous investment banking experience is preferred
• A previous track record within a previous or current analyst position
