CRAFTSMAN+ is adding a versatile Director of Financial Planning & Analysis to our growing team of individuals who are passionate and committed to the pursuit of creative empowerment. Your Responsibilities


  • Establish and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, such as auditors, banks, investors, and legal & compliance experts.
  • Conduct financial due diligence for potential acquisitions or partnerships.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and recommending strategic corrective actions.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and changes in accounting and finance standards.
  • Manage cash flow, financial risk, and investments.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, laws, and reporting requirements.
  • Collaborate with other departments to develop and evaluate business strategies.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures.
  • Prepare and present financial reports, including but not limited to budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses, to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Oversee and manage the financial operations of the organization.
  • Provide financial planning and analysis to support business decisions and guide the business toward its goals and vision.
  • Drive financial efficiency and cost optimization initiatives.
  • Lead and manage the finance team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.


Necessary Skills And Experience


  • Expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and compliance requirements.
  • 4-5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or a related field, with progressive responsibility.
  • Experience working for a creative agency preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and influence decision-making.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems, including Quickbooks, enterprise resource planning (ERP) and financial planning and analysis (FP&A) tools.
  • Must have a bias for action - proactive and thoughtful action is crucial in the fast-paced, ever changing and exciting environment of CRAFTSMAN+.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.


Desirable Skills And Experiences


  • Professional certification such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) is highly desirable.
  • Experience in a leadership role within a finance department.
  • Familiarity with international finance and taxation.
  • Experience with mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and integration.


Compensation And Benefits
  • The salary range for this role is $85,000 to $160,000
  • Offers are based on experience and could fall outside of this range if necessary
