Job Description
The role is responsible for the Business Operations function within Technical Operations. They are also accountable for the development and maintenance of Sarepta’s gene therapy and RNA supply strategy to support the company’s portfolio.


Working with members of Technical Operations, Finance and external service providers, this role will be responsible for all aspects of Business Operations including compiling functional budgets, financial reconciliations and contract negotiations. The person in this role will also work with key stakeholders throughout the organization to assess and develop long term demand position, lead risk assessments and mitigations plans as well develop business cases to ensure product supply (e.g. make vs. buy and relevant business development assessments).


Primary Responsibilities Include


  • Lead CoGs reduction/vendor performance initiatives/metrics
  • Accountable for developing the Tech Ops Strategic manufacturing plan including long range planning (LRP), program prioritization input and resource modeling
  • Management of the Business Operations and Supply Strategy team (2+ FTEs currently)
  • Manage the Business Operations function
  • Maintain financial models working with Finance for CoGs, capital investment
  • Key collaborator for relevant Corporate Strategy efforts (e.g. Strat plan, BD efforts)
  • Tech Ops lead for outsourced manufacturing contract negotiations
  • Will lead supplier assessment and selection process as applicable
  • Will be part of the team focusing on maintain business relationships with manufacturing partners


Desired Education And Skills


  • Excellent writing and oral skills
  • BSc./BEng with minimum 20 yrs of biotech/pharma operations experience.
  • Knowledge and experience developing financial models
  • CMC/drug development experience
  • Supplier management experience


This position is hybrid, you will be expected to work on site at one of Sarepta’s facilities in the United States and/or attend Company-sponsored in-person events from time to time.


The targeted salary range for this position is $216,000 - $270,000 per year. Sarepta is making a good faith effort to be transparent and accurate around our hiring ranges. The salary offer is commensurate with Sarepta’s compensation philosophy and considers factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, external market conditions, criticality of role, and internal equity.


Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.
