Senior Director Business Development

In this role, you will play a crucial role in driving growth by identifying and cultivating funding streams for the early and elementary education sector, as well as, spearheading the build-out of Professional Development (PD) Programs.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of Funding initiatives and Professional Development Programs, making data-driven recommendations for improvement and additional investment.
• Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify potential funding streams and emerging trends in the education industry.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop and execute marketing and communication strategies to promote funding opportunities and Professional Development Programs.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including School Districts, Educational Associations, and Non-profit Organizations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute business development strategies that align with company goals and objectives.
• Lead the development and implementation of ECE Professional Development programs, including curriculum sourcing, delivery methods, and evaluation processes across the early and elementary education sector.
• Stay informed about policy changes and regulations in the education sector, ensuring compliance with Funding requirements.
• Identify, evaluate, and develop strategic partnerships with Funding Organizations, Foundations, and Government Agencies to understand and proactively close Grant-Funded opportunities in the early and elementary education sector.

Qualifications:

• Experience in selling and/or developing and implementing Professional Development Programs.
• Knowledge of current trends and challenges in the early and elementary education sector.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in business development, partnership management, and sales within the education sector.
• Proficiency in using CRM software and other business development tools.
• Proven track record of successfully securing Funding from various sources for educational programs.
• Strong understanding of Funding streams and Grants available in the early and elementary education sector.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with a keen eye for identifying business opportunities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Education, or a related field.
