Financial Analyst - Senior

We are seeking a Financial Analyst who can assist with the financial analysis and reporting of multiple divisions and regions. The ideal candidate can work under minimal supervision and takes the appropriate actions to identify and solve complex problems pertaining to the operations analysis function.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Identify and implement process improvements.
• Performs other special projects/analysis and other duties as requested by management.
• Collaborate with peers and management across multiple disciplines to ensure data integrity & accuracy.
• Drive service excellence; provide financial insights to support the forecasting process ensuring appropriate channel/category mix, and operating expense management.
• Participate in due diligence efforts on potential acquisition candidates.
• Use GAAP accounting practices to develop and create structured financial models to present complex results.
• Implement new tools for approaching financial analysis, with a detailed focus on revenue
• Distribute analyses, conclusions and recommendations to senior management and business unit offices for consideration in the determination of future growth strategies for the company.
• Develop and present recommendations to business leaders regarding strategy and collaborate on developing accompanying tactical plans.
• Lead analytical projects which may include pricing and/or profitability analysis, acquisition opportunity, corporate and department overhead allocations, fixed and variable cost analysis.
• Attend senior management forecast meetings to provide answers to finance related questions and develops presentations to be used by the Executive Team.
• Lead the forecasting process and preparation of operating plan.

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Applied proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Access required.
• 1 - 6 years of applied analytics in a multi-location environment.
• Excellent communication skills verbal and written.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• MBA or MBA in progress a plus.
• Attention to detail and accuracy required
• Good interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, MIS or Equivalent Discipline required.
