Join our drone manufacturing client as a Senior Communications and Policy Manager and take the lead in shaping policy and corporate communication programs in North America! You will be responsible for effectively communicating complex and sensitive issues to media and other stakeholders and handling unplanned situations to enhance our brand's reputation.

To excel in this position, you must have a deep understanding of our client's corporate agenda and products, along with the regulatory frameworks they operate under. Your responsibilities will include devising an inspiring and effective regional communication plan and establishing and maintaining extensive media relations. The role requires exceptional organizational and detail-oriented skills, from learning product specifics to understanding regulatory opportunities and challenges, tracking news coverage, and producing flawless written PR assets. Flexibility and resourcefulness are vital, as you will collaborate with teams across the globe in a global company setting.

Main Responsibilities:

• Handle in-bound press inquiries on corporate issues and policy matters.
• Lead communications activities on policy issues pertinent to our client's business in North America.
• Write and distribute press releases, email pitches, and op-ed pieces to support our client's corporate communication campaign.
• Execute reactive and proactive communications campaigns and strategies.
• Provide overall support on corporate communication to the global PR team.
• Build effective relationships with key media outlets and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with other functional teams, including sales, aftersales, legal, policy, and regional PR teams to achieve communication objectives.

Requirements:

1. 5-7 years of experience in PR and communications, preferably in policy communication.
2. Bachelor's degree or above in public relations, communications, journalism, marketing, or related fields.
3. Experience in international tech companies or global PR firms preferred.
4. Ability to work and collaborate efficiently across different cultures and time zones.
5. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
6. Ability to work independently and thrive in a challenging work environment.
7. Strong attention to detail while staying focused on larger goals.
8. Willingness to travel on a regular basis.
