Senior Brand Designer Jobs

Maple Media is looking for a Senior Brand Designer with 5+ years of experience to join our Los Angeles-based team. The ideal candidate is well-versed in several creative disciplines, including brand identity, email & web design, video & motion graphics, social assets, and digital ad creatives. Key Responsibilities:

• Stay current on best design practices, including accessibility considerations
• Collaborate to establish new & develop existing brand guidelines, adhering to technical specs and best practices for the Maple Media brand & key apps across the portfolio
• Develop & deliver high-quality designs to support an array of marketing initiatives, including branding, email, social media, website, and promotional assets
• Present & communicate design concepts with clear reasoning to support design choices
• Create branded assets, including ad creatives, editorial & email imagery, one-sheets, presentation decks, promotional artwork, press kits, gifs, etc
• Create & implement a file management system for marketing collateral
• Keep a finger on the pulse of the design landscape--follow trends, identify & monitor competitors, and find opportunities to elevate design

About You:

• Hands-on experience developing, implementing, and evolving brand style guidesExpert ability with Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, and other design tools
• Well-versed in receiving & synthesizing feedback from stakeholders
• Excellent oral communication skills—can clearly articulate design concepts and abstract ideas to convey design purpose & function to stakeholders
• Ability to work independently; strong decision-making & problem-solving skillsAbility to work with urgency and high attention to detail in a dynamic environment
• Email & website (HTML/CSS/LiveText/PHP) experience a plus
• Familiarity with project management software, such as Jira, Asana, ClickUp
• Can easily interpret marketing messaging and design impactful assets to support goals
• 5+ years of experience in marketing design for brands, products, or mobile apps/gamesSenior-level expertise to balance multiple projects and execute at a high level
• Final Cut Pro/Adobe Premiere Pro experience a plus
