The role is a part of the Corporate Fuel Accounting, team within our Finance division.

Enrollment in an accredited Bachelor's program in Accounting, Finance, or other related field.

Manage the overall consolidation process, including the review and validation of financial data from various entities within the organization.

Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting and financial reporting in manufacturing environment with multi-entities.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, consolidation methodologies, and financial reporting standards (e.g., GAAP).

Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to interpret complex financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations.

1+ years of direct experience in an accounting or finance role

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, other related business discipline, or foreign equivalent

1+ years of experience with General Ledger accounts

Ability to apply technical accounting standards and requirements

Intermediate level of proficiency using and reporting financials from SAP

Intermediate level of proficiency in MS O365 applications: Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, and Teams

BS with 0-2 years of experience

0-2 years of professional accounting experience

Experience with corporate expense reporting and P-Cards

Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP

Perform daily cash applications in Costpoint

Obtain, assemble, and prepare expense reports for Corporate leadership

Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience is required, real estate experience preferred.

Experience working in commercial real estate, ideally in a real estate private equity environment.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Reports the impact of expenses to management (i.e., administrative, foreign exchange gains and losses, RINS, and other environmental regulations).

Adjusts and reconciles monthly benefit accruals, pension and other postemployment benefits (OPEB) accounts.

5 years of accounting, public accounting, and/or auditing experience required.

Working knowledge of SAP and its applications preferred.

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (i.e., Word and Excel) preferred.

Experience in refining industry preferred.
