Job Title: Senior App Support Analyst

Sun Life International is a leading financial services company, providing insurance, wealth management, and asset management solutions across the globe. We are currently seeking a Senior App Support Analyst to join our team to provide end-to-end support for our global applications portfolio.

Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot complex application issues, working closely with development teams to identify and resolve underlying problems.
  • Continuously improve the application support process, identifying opportunities for automation and process optimization.
  • Provide end-to-end support for all applications in the Sun Life International portfolio, ensuring that service level agreements are exceeded.
  • Provide IT governance oversight for all applications, ensuring that they meet Sun Life International's standards and policies.
  • Collaborate with global teams to identify and resolve application support issues across multiple regions.
  • Use JIRA to manage the ticket queue, ensuring that all issues are tracked and resolved in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors to provide documentation and evidence of compliance with various regulatory and compliance requirements, such as SOX.
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to manage vendor relationships, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and ongoing performance management.

Qualifications:

  • Strong vendor management skills, including experience managing large, complex contracts and relationships.
  • Strong technical skills, including experience troubleshooting complex applications.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience working with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with regulatory and compliance requirements, including SOX.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders across multiple regions.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in application support or a related role.
  • Experience working with JIRA or other ticketing systems.
  • Excellent knowledge of IT governance frameworks and best practices.
  • Familiarity with international regulatory and compliance requirements is preferred.
