The Tesla Charging network, the world’s fastest electric vehicle charging network which includes over 80,000 Superchargers and Wall Connectors worldwide, is a critical enabler to Tesla’s mission to accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable energy.
Network Planning sits within the business planning team of the Charging organization and represents an integral part of the Charging program, as the physical network buildout starts with a robust network plan. The Senior Analyst will play a critical role as the key intermediary between data science and modelling teams, our field deployment teams and senior executives to ensure our charging infrastructure is sized, timed, and located in the best possible locations globally. The Senior Analyst should be proficient in business operations and stakeholder management, with experience in business or financial planning preferred. Additionally, strong excel modelling, presentation skills, and the ability to build consensus towards business process recommendations will be key to success within the role.
What You’ll Do

• Generate recommendations to incorporate new business opportunities into our network planning processes
• Work cross functionally to gather feedback, prioritize requests, and establish business requirements for planning tool enhancements
• Responsible for budget setting, reforecasting, field planning support, and network plan evaluation
• Drive process improvement, simplification, and automation of key planning processes

What You’ll Bring

• 3-7 years of experience in consulting, finance, energy, high-growth technology companies or other relevant industries
• Bachelors degree in Business, Economics, Operations Management, Analytics, or equivalent
• Demonstrated success driving tangible impact / influencing within a broader organization
• Advanced excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with SQL and/or Python preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly with senior business leaders
• Rigorous, detail-oriented, critical thinker that is able to work independently and in a team

Expected Compensation
$68,000 - $234,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
