Senior Developer Advocate Jobs

Experience in the Financial Services sector, including but not limited to corporate accounting, trading, treasury, risk management is a bonus.

At least 3 years of experience working in a Developer Advocate or Technical Business Development role.

Excellent speaking and writing skills and comfortable being a public speaker.

Proven experience in open-source or scientific software community management and engagement

Bachelor's degree in Biology, Computer Science, Bioinformatics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Understanding of the bioinformatics and genomics landscape, and practical knowledge of Nextflow and its alternatives (e.g., Snakemake, CWL, WDL).

Experience delivering presentations and conducting training sessions.

Knowledge or experience in Google My Business (GMB)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail

Typing skills and speed at a minimum of 45 words per minute/85% accuracy

Experience with Vendor Management Systems, Digital Marketing, E-Commerce, and Merchandising

15% - Tracks content performance, digital asset management, assortment opportunities via regular reporting.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities And Key Accountabilities

10% - Offers industry expertise and acts as the subject matter expert for the supported assortment/category.

5% - Builds system knowledge and expertise through ongoing tailored, training classes.

Experience with SQL, Tableau and Adobe products

Foster excellent relationships with developers, contributors, software engineers, product managers, and designers in relevant open-source communities.

Lead and manage our developer relations program, driving growth and engagement in their open-source communities.

3+ years of experience as an open-source developer advocate, solutions engineer, software engineer, or equivalent role.

Working knowledge of open-source technologies, best practices, and software design.

Experience in developing content for blogs, presentations, demos, talks, and tutorials for technical audiences.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Knowledge of care coordination and case management concepts is preferred.

Receive inbound calls from members to educate them on their benefits and provide guidance with appointment scheduling

Work with health insurance counterparts to answer customer questions related to benefits, claims, and billing

High school diploma with 3+ years of customer service experience; or Bachelor’s degree

Customer-centric focus with excellent communications skills

Bilingual language skills preferred (English-Spanish or other)

Previous experience working in data engineering, including knowledge of current data engineering tools and trends

Create and uphold a high standard of developer experience for our products

Improve the developer experience by providing user feedback to Engineering and influence product decisions

Demonstrable hands-on programming experience and solid programming foundations; you will be coding up to 50% of your time in this role

Passion for developer experience and community building

Direct experience with data work in python, SQL, Spark, etc.
