RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Assist in the monthly, quarterly and annual close process.
• Interface payroll from UKG and record payroll accruals.
• Prepare journal entries and run general ledger reports using Oracle Financials.
• Analyze and document expense variances for payroll, direct expenses and utilities to comparative month, quarter and year.
• Assist Director as liaison to external auditors, enabling timely execution of audits.
• Assist with special projects.
• Foreign currency translation and financial statement analysis of our Swiss operations in accordance with US GAAP.
• Monthly account analysis and reconciliations of cash, prepaid expenses, other assets, accrued payroll and other accrued expenses.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Advanced Excel Skills (pivot tables, V-lookups)
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as function well with independent responsibilities
• Good communication skills, both oral and written
• 4+ years of accounting experience
