SENIOR ACCOUNTANT
Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant for their Naples, FL office. The Senior Accountant will work with the accounting team on financial management, corporate accounting, and financial reporting within the department.
Duties And Responsibilities

• Work with the accounting team to develop business processes and accounting policies to maintain internal controls, research technical accounting issues for compliance, and comply with any requirements and policies
• File monthly sales tax return
• Record and reconcile customer deposits
• Assist the accounting team with managing all accounting operations, including Billing, A/R, A/P, month-end and year-end close processes, monthly bank reconciliations, monthly inventory allocation and reconciliation, and monthly and annual financial statements
• Conduct any additional senior accountant duties as necessary

Requirements

• Preparation and review of corporate and payroll tax filings
• Experience with the following:
• General ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
• 5+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience
• Financial statement preparation for all types of legal entities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and demonstrated ability to communicate effectively
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• High-energy individual who possesses a positive “can do” attitude
• Timberline or Sage preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
