If so, JDA TSG's Tax Services Group would like to speak with you about joining our team.

We are hiring part-time tax professionals for the upcoming tax season, working Sat/Sun/Mon from mid-January to mid-April 2023, and we would love to speak with you! In this role, you will provide tax support and advice via video, phone, and chat, helping customers work on their returns. You will not be preparing or filing returns, although an active PTIN is required. We need folks who can work the entire season, through April 15, 2024.

As a tax professional, we want you to leverage your knowledge, experience, and expertise to ensure a fantastic customer experience. You will assist with tax preparation, some troubleshooting, and resolving tax issues.

What You Get:

• A W2 role paying $33 per hour + benefits including 401K, perks, and other incentives.

• Work from mid-January to mid-April averaging 25 - 35 hours a week (OT if you want that!)

Who You Are:

• You avoid tax jargon and answer customers' tax preparation questions using language they understand.
• You are friendly and reassuring, passionate about customer service and problem resolution, and comfortable interacting over video and chat. (Dedicated hardwired internet connection required.)
• You are an Enrolled Agent, CPA or Practicing Attorney with an active PTIN#
• You are the go-to for all things tax: you have at least 3 seasons filing 30 or more individual and small business tax returns, using tax prep software in a tax practice/retail setting.

What You Will Do:

• Provide tax support and advice over video, phone, and chat, helping customers work on returns (Active PTIN required. You are not preparing or filing returns directly.)

• Ensure an excellent customer experience using your expertise in tax preparation, technology troubleshooting, and resolving tax issues – there is a script that you will follow to help guide your responses.
• Carefully document all customer interactions.
