Job Description

The School Social Work Coach will provide support, supervision and intensive coaching to school social workers and MSW interns in the NY/NJ metro area.

Description

The ideal candidate has knowledge of school support services (i.e. counseling, restorative discipline, and behavior management is required) and a minimum of four years experience. The ideal candidate has experience in the K-12 setting as a school social worker or a school leadership team member. Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication, organization, and time-management skills. Candidates must be tech-savvy with the ability to travel to NY/NJ as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Master's Degree in Social Work, Education Leadership, Psychology, Counseling, Marriage & Family, or another relevant field. LCSW preferred
  • Supervision experience preferred
  • Ability to travel within the Metro NY/NJ area
  • 2 years experience with facilitation and/or coaching for professionals
  • 3-5 years of experience as a school social worker, school counselor, or director of student support services
  • Expertise in presentation and design software such as Canva, Mighty Networks, Adobe
  • 2 years minimum experience providing counseling in a school setting,
  • Understanding health equity, DEI, trauma-informed care, and school support services
  • Experience facilitating large professional development workshops virtually and in person.


Salary

$60 - $75 per hour
