School Rn - Part Time - Seymour - $40/Hr

School Clinic Registered Nurse,
1:1 elementary special needs student located in Seymour, IN. High-level needs: Suction: oral and nasal: Has a history of Sez, and needs to be able to perform rectal meds, over 5 minutes, and has a feeding pump.
This opportunity would be until the end of the school year from 8:30 am, Parent will drop the student off at school, and at 12:30 pm, candidates will ride the bus to students home, and back to school. The student is also in rolled in summer school starting in June hours possibly 8:30-10:30 am or 12:30 pm.
This is a day shift position, with a pay rate of $40 per hour. 2 years of recent experience is required.

Responsibilities of the School Clinic Registered Nurse, RN

• Effectively triage students
• Complete patient documentation
• Plan, direct, assess and provide nursing care according to the policies and procedures of the school
• Consult and coordinate with health care team members to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans.
• Provide basic first aid care

Requirements of the RN

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license with in the state of Indiana
• Active BLS, physical, TB test, and other medical compliance as required by facility
• Must be able to work independently, yet together as part of a team
• 1-2 years of recent and related experience, as required by facility
• Proficient at taking vital signs and administering medication accordingly
• Must be able to remain calm under pressure
