Full-Time Custodian(S) Jobs

The Facilities Department is seeking applications for full-time custodians in our Housekeeping Department. Promotional opportunities exist with demonstrated good performance. We offer competitive salaries and an excellent benefits package including educational benefits for you and your family! The typical workweek for this position is 40 hours.
Salary Information

• Night shifts start at $13.10
• Salary is negotiable based on experience
• Day shifts start at $12.50

Responsibilities

• Audits supplies on carts and in closets, reporting which supplies need to be restocked
• Completes daily, weekly, monthly, or per-request cleaning routines
• Completes general cleaning and care of the University buildings, which includes dusting, mopping, vacuuming, pulling trash, cleaning restrooms and common areas, and other areas/tasks as assigned
• Uses chemicals and equipment as trained with proper PPE

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 40 pounds required
• High school diploma or GED required
• A great attitude is required as well as taking pride in seeing how your work makes the campus a better place
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, climb steps, and routinely lift moderate to heavy objects to perform the functions of this job required
• Ability to pass a physical, lift, and drug test required
