Job Description

Temporary Part-Time Clinical RN Instructor for Medical Careers

Job Specific Information: Temporary Part Time (No Benefits)
MCPS Official

Clinical supervision and skills instruction of high school students seeking certification of CNA /GNA in Montgomery County Public Schools. No lecturing involved. Temporary P/T; 10-18 hours/week; $60.00/hour; Monday-Friday; 2-3 months starting February.


According to COMAR "Each course instructor shall: 1) be a registered nurse licensed to practice in Maryland; 2) Have a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, at least 1 year of which was in caring for the elderly or chronically ill in the past 5 years; and 3) Complete a course with a minimum of 16 hours of instruction in the principles of adult education (Train- the Trainer), or have a minimum of 2 years of teaching experience".
