Sanitation Assistant Foreman Jobs

Position Summary
An employee in this class assists the Sanitation Superintendent and the Landfill Manager in the supervision of the daily activities of a large number of laborers and equipment operators engaged in various phases of the municipal solid waste control program. Duties include assisting the Sanitation Superintendent and the Landfill Manager in supervising and instructing personnel, adjusting work schedules to meet emergency situations, coordinating equipment maintenance, and performing related inspection responsibilities. All work is performed in accordance with established policies, regulations, and procedures; however, the employee must exercise independent judgment in meeting emergency situations. Work is subject to continued review by the Landfill Manager through inspections and conferences.
