Job Description

About Us

God’s Love We Deliver, a nonsectarian organization, is the New York metropolitan area’s leading provider of life-sustaining meals and nutrition counseling for people living with severe illnesses. Begun as an HIV/AIDS service organization, today God’s Love provides for people living with more than 200 individual diagnoses. God’s Love cooks and home delivers the specific, nutritious meals a client’s severe illness and treatment so urgently require. Meals are individually tailored for each client by one of our Registered Dietitians, and all clients have access to unlimited nutrition counseling. God’s Love supports families by providing meals for the children and senior caregivers of its clients. All of the agency’s services are provided free of charge.

About the Role

God’s Love is in a period of growth. To sustain that growth and support scalability, the organization is expanding its use of systems, technologies and data, and preparing to launch a new CRM using Salesforce. This role will be key to that effort.

The Salesforce and Application Training Specialist will oversee systems training (one-on-one and small group training, creation and management of manuals and materials) and will be actively involved in the creation and documentation of standards and procedures.

This role will primarily manage learning, governance and monitoring for the God’s Love Salesforce implementation, but will also perform this role for other applications in use at God’s Love.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Learning Development

  • Advise on in-app guidance within Salesforce.
  • Lead training related to the release of enhanced features or future development of our systems.
  • Curate existing vendor documentation and user training materials and create custom materials unique to God’s Love. Materials include user documentation, course curricula, and training videos.
  • Manage and conduct the training of stakeholders on God’s Love’s systems. Training will relate primarily to Salesforce and our data and reporting warehouse, but will involve other systems as well (e.g., Office 365, Windows, Box, PowerBI, mobile device use)
  • Work closely with the rest of the Systems team to incorporate end user feedback into user interface enhancements.

Data Governance

  • In collaboration with internal stakeholders, define rules for managing information in the CRM.
  • Prepare learning material and curricula regarding the use of the CRM.

Monitoring

  • Run reports and summaries, report on gaps and data cleanliness.
  • Incorporate reporting into training.
  • Contribute to the monitoring and continuous improvement of the CRM.
