Position Description
Key to the success of this position will be consistently & diligently working on all aspects of BirdDog’s customers’ success and the reliability & reputation of BirdDog connected workflow solutions. This role encompasses high levels of customer and partner facing interactions, requiring a dedicated individual with a true service orientation, real-world practicality and an understanding of commercial and market challenges.
Reporting to the VP Sales - Americas, we are seeking a self-starting, Sales Representative with deep connections in the Broadcast, Production, Streaming, and AV sectors across the Territory. You will collaborate primarily with our resellers on the Eastern US and Canada to drive user adoption, propel sales and drive business growth.
You are required to demonstrate an operational, working knowledge of BirdDog’s range of products and solutions, being responsible for driving deep engagement and adoption through all stages of the sales ‘life cycle’.
You will be required to report through the CRM (Zoho) including Customer Sales reports and not limited to the performance of your Territory including relative to Forecast sales. These reports are considered “always live”, in that they are perpetually accessible to the Territory Sales Team and as such can be retrieved by the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) at all times.
This position requires regular travel across your Territory and the effective and successful management of your Territory. Crucially, you will possess the ability to develop, build and maintain successful relationships and exceed revenue goals, all whilst delivering exceptional customer service to our Channel Partners and end users.

·Proactively support BirdDog sales teams and the channel throughout the sales cycle
·Drive sales growth in your Territory with your passion, knowledge, creativity and relentless pursuit of excellence at every touch point through the sales cycle
·Collaborate with a high-performance sales team across your Territory and the globe
Duties and Responsibilities
Your duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited, to the following:
·Work collaboratively with the broader BirdDog organization to propel sales, converting sales opportunities by successfully closing them
·Proactively support BirdDog sales teams and channels throughout the sales cycle
·Develop existing, and recruit new, channel partners and deliver against sales plans/targets
·Provide day-to-day support for channel partners, Systems Integrators and Distributors to help them sell, implement and support BirdDog products
·Manage and maintain demand planning and forecasting
·Work collaboratively with the global BirdDog organization to drive sales
·Develop a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and position BirdDog for success
·Attend trade shows/industry events and travel where required
·Continuously ensure the data integrity - the accuracy, completeness (no missing deals or leads) and the timeliness of entering the data - within our CRM (Zoho), including account details, lead qualifications, pipeline information, deal close date accuracy and all other sales related activities
·Report consistently and accurately on channel performance and forecast revenue
·Improve customer engagement & product adoption and foster enthusiastic, passionate end users
·Able to work effectively and autonomously as a remote worker
·Work with and collaborate with fellow team members across the globe
·Any other duties & responsibilities delegated to you which are within your skill/competency
Skills and Experience
To discharge the key duties and responsibilities above, you must possess the requisite technical abilities and interpersonal skills for the Position, as determined by BirdDog that may change from time to time and may include, inter alia, one or more of the following at BirdDog’s discretion:
·5+ years in a similar role within the Audio-Visual and Broadcast sectors
·A proven track record of exceeding sales targets
·Possess a deep understanding of the NDI® market within the Broadcast & AV sectors
·A passion to drive sales growth through superior customer focus
·Strong relationships with Systems Integrators and Broadcast & AV marketplaces in the Territory
·Strong capability to present to customers in-person, virtually, and at trade shows
·Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team across jurisdictions/borders
·Flexible attitude and able to work in fast-paced environment
·Superior level of English language: comprehension, verbal & written.
