Sales Representative Jobs

PRIMARY PURPOSE AND FUNCTION

Responsible for developing and expanding new and current customers’ knowledge of Asher’s Chocolate Co and Brokerage lines within their territory, with the goal of increasing sales.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

ØDevelop customer relationships in assigned territory, both for Asher’s Chocolate Co. and the brokerage lines of Robert Asher Associates.

ØVisit key customers in designated sales territory as needed.

ØDevelop and maintain thorough product knowledge of Asher’s Chocolate Co. as well as companies represented by Robert Asher Associates.

ØMaintain up-to-date customer information in Salesforce.com.

ØPursue leads received from outside inquiries and trade shows.

ØWork closely with other departments to understand the product and business.

ØResponsible for submitting weekly Sales Report for Asher’s Chocolate Co, as well as field reports for brokerage lines upon request.

ØRepresent Asher’s at several trade show and events throughout the year.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

None

Qualifications:

ØProficient in MS Office products, Salesforce.com CRM, and Ross ERP

ØEfficient in email and internet applications.

ØStrong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field.

Travel Requirements:

Approximately 40 nights per year tradeshows and/or Customer visits.
