The Sales Manager is responsible for optimizing sales, profitability, customer satisfaction and retention of new and used car sales deals while providing solid planning, motivation and coordination of the sales department through leadership and solid business practices.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train and develop a team of automotive sales consultants.
• Direct and schedule the activities of department employees and monitor performance to ensure individual and department goals are achieved.
• Assist in closing deals and assisting customers as needed.
• Maintain appropriate levels of customer service and client retention by resolving customer complaints or concerns immediately and appropriately.
• Ensure CRM is being utilized in accordance with dealership policies and expectations.

Pay Scale Information
This is not a commission only position. $216000 - $360000 / year is the expected total annual earnings after factoring in all forms of compensation including hourly pay, commissions, overtime, benefits (vacation and sick), etc. Employees in this position will primarily be paid commissions, but they will also be paid minimum wage for non-sales work and for rest periods. Commissions range from $144,000 to $288,000 per year based on performance.
Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Finance Manager in a dealership environment
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
