Southern California (multiple openings)

We're looking for a passionate and effective Sales Consultant to develop our customer base at Plateron. The role will include researching target accounts, managing leads, and developing your customer list of Plateron users. By signing up new customers to Plateron, you unlock opportunities for them to leverage a user-centric, simplified, and powerful restaurant management platform, so they can fully focus on providing a delightful restaurant experience to their guests.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with the drive to establish and develop new customer relationships while communicating the Plateron value proposition to key decision makers. You will use your communication skills to cultivate strong relationships with customers, from the first contact to customer onboarding, and throughout their time as a Plateron customer. Responsibilities:

  • Interact with other Plateron teams to ensure customer expectations and experiences align, and all relevant information is handed off consistently.
  • Ability to independently build, plan and execute on a regional sales plan
  • Independently develop a customer list in your region that will support Plateron’s adoption and growth targets.
  • Consistently represent the Plateron value proposition to all customers and prospects.
  • Achieve individual customer acquisition targets and maintain great customer relationships.
  • Create scalable sales processes including sales pitching, lead capture, nurturing, and conversion activities.
  • Track, analyze and review all customer calls, appointments, and follow-up communications with customers to continually uplevel our sales performance


Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts)
  • Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce)
  • Strong planning, prioritization and closing strategies that allow working across multiple leads independent of timeline, scope, and location.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Track record of achieving sales targets and operating in ambiguous startup environments
  • Prior work experience in retail customer service, inside sales, or business development
  • Hands-on experience with lead generation and conversion techniques
  • Self-starter with a natural passion for sales to realize mutual benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the customer advocate and liaison for product management and development
  • Develop strong prospect and customer relationships to ensure confidence in the product and long-term success for our customers
  • Prepare periodic forecasts and progress updates toward sales goals
  • Operate with little supervision to drive customer needs analysis, product demonstrations, and contract closing
  • Build your own customer pipeline and successfully convert customers to Plateron's solutions offering


Qualifications:

  • Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business
  • 3+ years' of sales or customer success experience
