Sales Manager Jobs

We're looking for an active customer-focused team player with exceptional sales skills to be the next sales manager at our busy hotel. You'll be in charge of developing a sales and marketing plan that includes soliciting new and existing accounts to meet and exceed revenue targets via outside sales calls, on-site visits and sales tours, and community networking. This energetic leader will be able to enhance revenue by researching local market trends and competition behavior to discover and close business leads. $65,000 - $75,000 yearly

Responsibilities:

• Supports the director of sales and marketing in preparing the department budget as well as the hotel's overall sales goals and strategy
• Attend various industry tradeshows and conferences as a professional representative of the hotel, while adhering to the budget and marketing plan requirements
• Identify new business leads by examining local market trends and competition activities
• Solicit new and existing accounts to meet and exceed revenue targets through outside sales calls, on-site visits and sales tours, and networking in the local community
• Create and maintain connections with key group and catering accounts in order to keep and expand our market share

Qualifications:

• Prior experience working in the hospitality sector is required
• Outstanding organizational skills and time management
• Demonstrated exceptional social, verbal, and negotiating abilities
• Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and a bachelor’s degree in business or a similar field a plus
• At least 3 years of experience in sales management or in a leadership role in the sales department, preferably in the hospitality industry

About Company

Dolce by Wyndham is a boutique upscale full-service kosher hotel that will open in the summer of 2023, just across the street from the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. It will have 100 rooms, manual room keys, kosher catering, and a special designated Shabbos elevator that stops automatically on every floor. This new hotel will also have a rooftop pool, valet parking, and a rooftop Kosher restaurant & bar

The Dolce by Wyndham will be located at 5530 S. State Road 7, Hollywood, FL., and is set to fully open in June 2023.
