As the Director of Sales at NuCurrent, you will be a crucial driver of our growth by leading the expansion of business with existing clients. You will play a pivotal role in developing and executing comprehensive strategies to foster customer engagement, drive revenue growth, enhance brand awareness, and increase company value within the wireless power technology licensing industry. You will be responsible for leading the account management and sales efforts, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational objectives.


How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Account Management Strategy: Develop and implement strategies to nurture and grow business with existing clients, driving customer retention and upselling opportunities. Develop and nurture relationships with clients to foster loyalty and customer retention. Understand the unique needs of each account and provide tailored solutions that align with our product and service offerings. Resolve any customer issues or concerns promptly, collaborating with cross-functional teams when necessary.
  • Customer Forecasting: Monitor, analyze, and forecast sales trends and opportunities with existing customers. Work closely with the finance team to develop accurate sales forecasts, identifying growth opportunities or potential risks. Provide feedback to product development and marketing teams based on customer insights and anticipated demand.
  • Organizational Charting: Develop and maintain up-to-date organizational charts for each key account to ensure clear understanding of decision-makers, influencers, and key contacts. Ensure efficient communication channels with customers, aligning with their organizational structure and hierarchy.
  • Business Planning: Collaborate with customers to create, review, and update business plans, aligning with both the client's and our company’s strategic goals. Regularly review account performance against the business plan and adjust strategies as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, finance, product development, and engineering to deliver a seamless customer experience. Participate in cross-functional teams to ensure product offerings and promotional strategies are aligned with customer needs.
  • Product Knowledge: Collaborate with the Product team to thoroughly understand our wireless power technology solutions, enabling you to effectively communicate value propositions to clients.
  • Reporting and Communication: Regularly update the Chief Commercial Officer and other stakeholders on account progress, challenges, and opportunities. Maintain detailed and accurate records of all customer interactions, sales transactions, and account changes.
  • Competitive Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends and competitive landscape, integrating insights into the go-to-market strategy to maintain a competitive edge.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Very strong relationship building skills
  • Ability to address and resolve problems that arise in the sales process
  • A proven track record of achieving sales quotas and targets.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Gmail, HubSpot (or comparable CRM), and LinkedIn
  • Ability to craft long-term sales strategies and adapt them based on market changes.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B sales and account management, preferably in the technology sector
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
