Sales And Marketing Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Obtaining payment information and processing credit card orders
• Communicating with the customer by phone or email to answer queries and obtain missing information
• Booking hotel rooms blocks
• Working with the finance department to handle new credit applications for customers
• Communicating with the customer about product availability and pricing
• Conference/tradeshow logistics
• Registering attendees for conferences/tradeshows
• Issuing invoices
• Supporting in-house processes related to operations of the Marketing department, such as:
• Providing tracking information to customers for shipments
• Supporting the sales department with other administrative tasks, if requested.
• Preparing quotes and entering customer purchase orders into SAP B1
• Maintaining and updating sales and customer records in ERP (SAP B1) and CRM (Salesforce) systems

Requirements:

• Proficient in Microsoft, Excel, PowerPoint
• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills is a must have
• Willingness to learn and build on existing operational skills
• Experience in biotech or biopharma is a plus, but not required
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Basic database skills, e.g. Salesforce and SAP Business One (or comparable database), is a plus
• Must be motivated and able to work, sometimes with minimal supervision, in a fast-paced small company environment
• Team player attitude
• Attention to detail
• An associate’s or bachelor's degree in business administration or similar preferred.
