About The Opportunity


We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) position. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fostering high standards of resident care by providing diligent orientation and continuing education efforts for the staff, emphasizing best practices, teamwork, and professional development.

Essential Duties


  • Assesses, plans and evaluates nursing care to culturally diverse adult/geriatric veteran populations
  • Supervises nursing staff and veteran care activities on assigned units.
  • Plans for optimal utilization of staff for the delivery of nursing care throughout the 24-hour/7 days-a-week period.
  • Ensures that Veteran care goals are mutually established with Veterans, families, and staff.


Qualifications


  • At least 1 year of professional RN experience
  • Current and valid registration as a professional nurse under the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing
