Job Description

Retail Channel Manager


We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Retail Channel Manager. The successful candidate will have a strong background in project management, communication, and strategic planning. As the operational voice of our accounts, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams at both global and North American levels to bring operational execution and services to life in our stores that elevate the Consumer Experience.


The Retail Channel Manager will be responsible for developing and leading the execution of operational plans, working with multiple accounts and operations, and harnessing a collaborative team environment. You will work closely with carrier cross-functional teams to ensure tools and resources function correctly, as well as partnering with corporate retail account teams both locally and nationally to help set the operational process and measure the overall execution of success. Additionally, you will be required to explain complicated, detailed, and quickly changing facts to retail leadership team in a succinct, easy to understand manner.


The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree plus an additional 7 years of relevant retail experience, with a proven ability to convey complex ideas in simple, effective ways that influence, inform, and educate audiences at all levels in the organization. Experience in developing process and creating measurements, as well as understanding of retail development and store systems/equipment, is highly desired. Proficiency in Power Point, Word, and Excel is also required.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with corporate retail account teams both locally and nationally to help set the operational process and measure the overall execution of the company's success
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring operational execution and services to life in our stores that elevate the Consumer Experience
  • Explain complicated, detailed, and quickly changing facts to the company's retail leadership team in a succinct, easy to understand manner
  • Assess and provide insights on operational market opportunities for various channels, geographies, and service levels to boost sales performance
  • Partner with carrier cross-functional teams to ensure tools and resources function correctly
  • Ability to travel approximately 15-25% of the time
  • Develop and lead the execution of operational plans, working with multiple accounts and operations


Qualifications:

  • Adaptability to move at the pace of consumer and work in a constantly evolving environment, making decisive decisions when needed
  • Ability to drive and improve business cadence (planning, budgeting, business reviews), setting and improving processes, monitoring execution, and driving accountability and visibility of progress against goals and objectives
  • Proficiency in Power Point, Word, and Excel
  • Demonstrated experience working with multiple accounts and operations
  • Outstanding written and communication skills, time management, and organization skill
  • Bachelor's degree plus an additional 7 years of relevant retail experience required
  • Strength in working cross-functionally, harnessing a collaborative team environment, and being able to lead project work within a large dynamic team and drive end-to-end planning
