The Role
In this high-profile role, you will be the overall program leader for key high impact Partner Marketing, campaigns and event initiatives from concept to execution. You will work across channel sales and marketing and business to meet overall initiative and/or product objectives.
The Person
The right candidate will have solid knowledge of technical program management, an outstanding track record of delivering sophisticated channel partner programs, you will also drive a schedule for business planning towards growth that align to business strategy Including:
  • Experience working with direct distribution (sales) teams and managed service providers (MSP) or global system integrators (GSI).
  • Channel partner enabling and/or marketing experience.
  • Hands-on experience developing content and program strategies and creating a range of joint GTM activities.
Key Responsibilities
  • Co-develop marketing programs and narratives that align the channel partner benefits and differentiation with AMD’s.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with our channel partners and enable them on AMD value prop and key messages.
  • Work with channel sales and marketing to build the appropriate commercial vertical marketing plans to support commercial sales through broad channel - resellers, MSPs, Global SIs, etc.
  • Partner Marketing, Campaigns, and Events - high-impact, joint marketing campaigns with channel partners in the partner programs at Lenovo, HPE, Dell, VmWare, etc.
  • Work with the Partner Alliance Teams and Sales to support sales and marketing programs for both AMD and channel partner stakeholders/sellers.
  • Partner with Sales, Campaigns, content and Marketing teams to highlight customer success in our content, campaigns, and events in the creation of compelling and innovative thought leadership and sales content (e.g. case studies, white papers, data sheets, blog posts, customer presentations, FAQs, etc.) to accelerate customer and industry awareness, and adoption of AMD based solutions.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert to enable the sales team to effectively understand the customer buying journey and articulate the value of AMD based solutions to prospects.
  • Work with program, product and regional marketing teams to integrate with global campaign strategies that rapidly create awareness and fuel pipeline by building consensus, alignment, and engagement across the Product, Sales, and Marketing teams.
A Successful Candidate Will Demonstrate
  • Creative thinker that can generate innovative marketing ideas, work collaboratively, and lead a cross-functional team of stakeholders to drive execution.
  • Dynamic, confident personality with the ability to strategically craft and drive project execution with limited guidance amidst multiple shifting priorities and goals.
  • Strong communication, presentation, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Proven track record in performing well in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to work well cross-functionally with IT Pros, corporate marketing and Business Decision Makers.
  • Senior program manager level skills to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines effectively.
  • Technical acumen and ability to partner with product and engineering to understand product capabilities and translate those into materials relevant to channel opportunities.
Academic Credentials
  • Strong program management and organizational operations experience
  • Formal Project Management education, PMP certified
  • Solid years of experience in marketing, product management, ecosystem development, or customer success at a high-tech company
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering

At AMD, your base pay is one part of your total rewards package. Your base pay will depend on where your skills, qualifications, experience, and location fit into the hiring range for the position. You may be eligible for incentives based upon your role such as either an annual bonus or sales incentive.
