About you:
We’re looking for a Restaurant Executive Chef to join our awesome team in Mountain View CA!

The Executive Chef is responsible for delivering exceptional culinary experiences to our guests. With a focus on process driven innovation, you will create experiences that support culinary excellence.

Reporting to the Area Culinary Director, you’ll leverage your strong hospitality and culinary skills to partner with key stakeholders across the account to deliver the best food service experience to our partners and guests.

The great things you will do:

• Deliver culinary experiences that surprise and delight
• Keenly focus on food and workplace safety
• Lead your team with care, concern and inclusion
• Develop internal culinary talent and maintain succession planning
• Monitor and manage all financial & budget responsibilities
• Create a culture of Food and Workplace Safety
• Up-skill, train and develop your team
• Work closely in conjunction with the FOH restaurant team
• Set an expectation of hospitality that is friendly and that truly engages our guests
• Drive all aspects of our sustainability program
• Design, manage and own the overall experience, not just the offerings
• Be a fantastic partner to our client and all our team

What we look for in the perfect candidate:

• Value-driven, inspirational leadership invoked by a deep sense of purpose and responsibility
• Excellent communication skills - written & verbal
• Passionate about sustainability
• Proven mentoring and teaching skills with direct reports & peers
• A minimum of 5-7 years restaurant, cafe, retail, hotel or stadium management experience required
• Culinary degree preferred, not required
• Advanced culinary knowledge
• Proven track record of both food and workplace safety management
• General management skills and the ability to lead team members
