Research Assistant Ii Jobs

The Research Assistant II (OBM) will collect, organize, and maintain clinical and research data for analysis of organizational behavior management projects focusing on program evaluation, treatment integrity, and performance improvement projects within the Neurobehavioral Unit (NBU).

• Confer with personnel to ensure successful functioning and maintenance of newly implemented systems or procedures.
• Participate in the orientation and training of new staff involved with organizational behavior management projects.
• Conduct organizational behavior management information gathering sessions with clinical and supervisory staff. Interview personnel and conduct on-site observations to ascertain unit functions, work performance and methods, equipment, and personnel used.
• Develop and/or maintain data collection systems for all organizational behavior management projects while maintaining project deadlines. Assist with the maintenance of data base.
• Organize and analyze data gathered and assist in the development of solutions or alternative methodologies.
• Conduct research literature reviews. Assist with maintenance of resource files (professional literature and educational materials).
• Assist with writing and editing publishable materials (journal articles, poster presentations) make presentations at professional conferences.
• Assist with development of program improvement and research protocols, provide training, implement protocols, and collect data.
• Assist in the conceptualization and development of organizational behavior management assessments and intervention plans
• Present information and succinctly summarize for audience. Answer questions relating to conceptualization of projects or practical issues.
• Coordinate the purchase and maintenance of supplies required for implementation of clinical and research protocols.
• Anticipate problems and assist with the development of alternative strategies for solving problems. Generate solutions independently and in conjunction with supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be proficient with MS Office suite, including Word, Excel, etc.
• Must be proficient in managing large data bases and graphing data

EDUCATION

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Master’s degree in Psychology preferred.

EXPERIENCE

• 2 years related experience required.
