Rescue Technician Jobs

Code Red Safety is a rescue company with multiple offices from Louisiana to Texas, and even expanding as far as California now. We will be conducting 40 hour rescue classes in the upcoming weeks. The class is only for people looking for employment with the company.

Responsibilities

-- work under the direction of a lead rescue tech along with fellow team members to ensure safe and efficient rescue response

-- ensure proper understanding of the rescue plan and their respective role in case of emergency

-- set up anchor points and rescue systems prior to job start to facilitate procedures in the rescue plan

-- perform entry and non-entry rescue maneuvers to extricate victim(s) from confined space or high angle environments

-- package victim(s) accordingly to allow for proper egress and spinal stabilization

--assist lead rescue tech with basic first aid until care is transferred to emergency medical response team

-- maintain an active role in ensuring proper safety for self and others in surrounding area

-- other duties as assigned

Qualifications

-- Preferred local to the Beaumont/Sulphur/Houston area

-- 18+ years of age

-- able to pass drug screen (hair/urine)

--able to pass 40 hour rescue course

-- (preferred) TWIC Card

-- (preferred) Basic Plus/ OSHA 30

-- reliable means of transportation

-- ability to work days/nights

-- ability to work flexible hours

** additional compensation available for EMS, military, fire, rescue experience
