Job Summary

DTG2GO
is seeking a Technician- Polaris to join the team in our Cranbury, NJ location. The Technician is responsible to repair and maintain all production equipment to ensure the smooth running of our operations.

Essential Job Functions
The Equipment Technician will be responsible for the safe and efficient trouble shooting and repair of machines.
  • Build and maintain expertise on assigned equipment through assigned training
  • Collaborate with maintenance staff to perform daily maintenance and scheduled preventative maintenance on all equipment
  • Assist production employees with issues and resolution
  • Troubleshoot and resolve machine issues as needed
  • Keep all production equipment operating at peak performance levels
Job Requirements
Competencies: (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
Basic understanding of and interest in electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Strong attention to detail, a sense of urgency and focus on accuracy.
  • Able to multi-task, prioritize and effectively manage workload.
  • Ability to read and understand schematics and equipment diagrams preferred.
  • Strong analytical / critical thinking skills
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience maintaining equipment with previous experience in the digital printing industry a plus.
Experience: Equipment maintenance experience, electric or mechanical repair background would be a plus!

Education
: HS Diploma
Work Environment
  • The work environment includes cold and heat temperatures and may experience excessive humidity.
  • Working indoor around machinery with moving parts and heavy equipment
  • The job requires to work in-person.
  • Work environment may include noise and require working proximity to others.
Physical Demands
  • Lifting and carrying items weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance on an intermittent basis for up to ten hours per day.
  • Bending, squatting, kneeling, twisting and reaching heights on an intermittent basis for up to ten hours per day.
  • Standing and walking continuously for up to ten hours per day.
  • Grasping, pushing and pulling of materials on an intermittent basis for up to ten hours per day.
  • Reaching and working above and below the shoulder level on an intermittent basis for up to ten hours per day.
