The department of Hematology is seeking a Researcher to perform laboratory tasks under direct supervision. The Researcher is expected to understand underlying concepts of experimental design and to implement these concepts under direct supervision.

Job Responsibilities:

• Performs laboratory experiments as directed using specific and prescribed techniques/protocols.
• May draft results/data for posters, presentations or publications
• Performs other related duties as assigned in order to meet the goals of the department and institution
• Accurately records experimental procedures and data.
• Maintains regular and predictable attendance
• Follows basic protocols, implementing experimental techniques prescribed by supervisor and providing basic troubleshooting where appropriate.
• Operates lab equipment.

Minimum Education and/or Training:

• Bachelor's degree in relevant scientific area is required
