Our Client has strong ambitions for the development of solar Utility-scale Power Plants with public and private off-takers and in the development of energy storage worldwide. The US is a key market to achieving this strategy, and the ambition is to establish in this area a sizable UPP portfolio. The Power Origination Analyst will support the Power Marketing and Origination team to market the power from TERUSA proposed energy projects and enter into power purchase or hedge agreements. Responsibilities include researching energy markets, analyzing data, writing proposals, and reviewing contracts.

Responsibilities:

• Devise and build tools for collecting and analyzing market data using statistical software.
• Convert complex data and findings into understandable tables, graphs, and written reports. Present results to management.
• Support offtake viability of projects (revenues optimization and risks mitigation)
• Monitor and forecast power price trends for various US energy markets.
• Review offtake contracts and support negotiations.
• Gather and analyze data about consumers, competitors, and market conditions to inform offtake strategy.
• Market strategy, planning, and execution in accordance with strategy
• Support responses to RFPs and marketing presentations to customers.
• Measure the effectiveness of marketing and origination strategies.

Requirements:

• Education. Bachelor's or master’s degree
• Initiative and ability to adapt and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong math, data analytics, and financial analysis skills.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience with previous position in the energy industry preferred.
• Detail-oriented and able to conduct precise data analysis.
