Job Description

Primary Services is excited to present an outstanding opportunity with a renowned global multi-energy company operating across 130 countries. We are actively seeking a project manager in Austin, TX to play a crucial role in supporting project developers by validating project schedules, coordinating with consultants, reviewing deliverables, and managing project budgets.


As a Senior Project Manager - Renewable Energy you will need to have experience in project development and a deep understanding of the energy industry to provide valuable developmental insights.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide support in evaluating potential new sites
  • Prepare routine reports for management and headquarters
  • Support enhanced coordination between Development and Execution Departments (e.g. prepare requested project information in a timely manner, coordinate responses with development staff, QA/QC documentation)
  • Prepare RFPs/scopes of work, review proposals, and make recommendations to Project Developers
  • Assist with the development of internal operating policies, standards, and procedures
  • In coordination with the accounting department lead, administer budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis
  • Provide project scheduling support to Project Developers (e.g. prioritize tasks, set deadlines, manage deliverables, monitor critical paths) throughout a project’s development lifecycle
  • Analyze schedule information with the project teams and stakeholders routinely; proactively identify critical paths, schedule risks/opportunities
  • Audit CRM/project management systems/Sharepoint site
  • Liaise with project landowners as needed
  • Drive contracting/due diligence process when engaging new consultants


Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of the critical path and other schedule risk/opportunity analysis techniques
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as project scheduling and project management software
  • Superior communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Exhibit enthusiasm and proficiency in process improvement and problem-solving
  • Excellent organizational skills demonstrated by clear and effective project plans and executive-level reporting that ensure timely action and decision-making in time-pressured scenarios.
  • Detailed and process-oriented with a self-driven demeanor.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, capable of leading efficiently and outperforming assigned objectives.
  • Experience using Customer Relationship Management software (preferably Salesforce)
  • Bachelor’s Degree, experience in renewable energy, real estate, GIS, or development a plus
  • Experience with vendor management and corporate compliance
