We are a growing startup in the Renewable Energy industry! We work with energy markets across the nation to develop, construct, finance, and operate utility-scale energy storage and hybrid renewable energy projects. We then connect them with industry-leading transmission and interconnection analytics to ensure optimization, and operate our systems safely and reliably. We are making a positive impact in the fight against climate change, while improving grid reliability. We are looking for a fully-remote Project Manager with experience in extensive energy industry specifically with the interconnection process. What You Will Be Doing

• Estimate network upgrade costs and cost allocations based on the relevant interconnection process
• Expedite projects through ISO interconnection queues, timing queue entry and working with the ISO and TOs to minimize network upgrades and maintain project schedule
• Review and develop interconnection applications, study agreements and associated drawings, specifications, and models
• Manage and review the work of third-party consultants to perform market analysis, power flow, dynamic, short-circuit and reactive capability of the projects
• Negotiate interconnect and study agreements with the relevant ISO, RTO and TO (multiple study agreements, ISA, CSA, and GIA)
• Perform interconnection project management, communicating the schedule and budgetary and milestone requirements for projects going through the interconnection process
• Effectively communicate between technical internal and third-party engineering, commercial, development team and the management team

What You Need for this Position
Minimum of 3-5+ Years of Preferred Experience with

• Interconnection process in ISO/RTO regions
• Project Management experience
• Interest or experience in the energy industry (solar, wind, renewable energy)
• Electrical Engineering industry experience
• Experience in electric markets (CAISO, PJM, ERCOT, NYISO)

Desired Experience with:(A Plus! but not required)

• Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or similar field (Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business, other etc...)
