Job Description

Summary
The Training Coordinator responsibilities include communicating with leaders to identify training needs and mapping out development plans for teams and individuals. Trainers are responsible for managing, designing, developing, coordinating and conducting all training programs for Team Members within the call center.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Collaborate with management to identify team specific training needs; make recommendations where appropriate.
  • Coordinate activities with all other Team Leaders and Departments in order to be of the utmost support to the stores, TMs and customers.
  • Design & implement training to support TMs in managing various customer service escalations.
  • Document (KM’s, SOP’s and Training Documents) surrounding Customer First team needs
  • Obtain certifications to deliver next level training / seminar support.
  • Provide training on process / procedure for TMs to assist store / field team / customers in parts lookup and/or product ordering, procedural questions and system issues.
  • Prepare training materials such as module summaries, videos, workbooks, & presentations.
  • Deliver a full orientation to Advance Auto Parts; train & guide new employees.
  • Train new hires & current TMs on the basics of answering, evaluation, and prioritization of incoming telephone, voice mail, e-mail, web, chat and in-person requests for assistance from callers concerning day to day operation, communication, or procedural problems.
  • Develop monitoring systems to ensure that all employees are performing job responsibilities according to training; providing feedback to their leadership.
  • Coordinate with leadership to schedule appropriate new hire, supplemental or reiterative training sessions.
  • Oversee & direct seminars, workshops, individual training sessions, and lectures.
  • Properly complete and submit any training reports accurately & on time.
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • Experience with PC software and hardware tools and equipment required. Good working knowledge of the APAL POS/EPC, E-commerce, SalesForce, FDO, and Cisco systems.
  • Basic understanding of automotive terms and knowledge of vehicle repairs would be valuable to this position.
  • Demonstrated organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Self-motivated and take initiative.
  • Skills in defining and implementing processes to improve operating efficiencies. Knowledge of Store Operation policies and procedures.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to identify operational problems, recommend optimum solutions and follow through to resolution.
  • Good communication, both written and verbal skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
  • Ability to work well with other departments and business partners.
  • Ability to motivate, manage, coach and train a team.
  • Ability to read, write and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals as well as routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE
  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED); and
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years related Customer Service experience and/or training; or
