Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Training Specialist to join our dynamic team and support an exciting DoD legacy system modernization project. As a Training Specialist, you will play a crucial role in planning, developing, and executing a comprehensive training and change management plan to successfully deliver the requirements of a large government contract. This is a remote position with occasional travel to client sites and team member locations. Join us in a fast-paced and dynamic environment where we leverage Agile/Scrum methodology and DevSecOps to rapidly build solutions based on customer needs.
Your Future Responsibilities
Collaborate closely with the project manager and client partners to drive strategic direction and innovation that supports customer requirements.
Apply your expert domain knowledge, professional principles, and theories to develop advanced concepts, techniques, solutions, and standards.
Lead engaging training sessions with diverse curricula, timeframes, and participants' skill levels, ranging from beginners to experts.
Introduce proven new ideas and best practices to enhance performance and foster innovation.
Mentor and support junior team members, fostering their professional growth.
Demonstrate strong business acumen and actively contribute to overall change management activities.
Foster a customer service-oriented mindset, ensuring exceptional support and satisfaction.
Embrace continuous improvement, fostering collaboration and communication within and across teams.
Analyze, identify, and solve problems effectively.
Consistently meet customer deadlines, requirements, and expectations.
Thrive in an adaptable environment that experiences frequent changes.

Required Qualifications For Success In This Role
Bachelor's Degree in information technology, computer science, information systems, or related field, with 8+ years of relevant experience.
Demonstrated effective communication skills with senior levels within corporate and customer organizations.
Experience in formulating and reviewing task plans and deliverable items through meetings with customers and contractor personnel, ensuring successful execution.
Collaboration with functional and technical counterparts and customers to develop strategies for improving performance and overall effectiveness of change management.
Proficiency in Agile methodology and its practical application.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Outstanding interpersonal skills to effectively engage with team members, customers, and support personnel.
U.S. Citizenship is required.
Desired Qualifications
Experience in system modernization management.
Previous involvement in supporting DoD Fourth Estate agencies (DFAS and/or DCMA).
Working knowledge of COBOL.
