Remote Claims Analyst ($18.00 / Hour)

Requirements

:

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• A minimum of 1 year of prior claims experience
• Ability to sit at a computer workstation for long periods of time
• A professional degree or equivalent experience
• Excellent attention to detail
• Sharp critical thinking skills with sound judgment

Essential Duties

• Follow written procedures and scripts
• Consult with team leadership and peers on case work
• Use proprietary software tools to access and review claim documents, enter claim decisions, and create escalations when needed
• Communicate immediately to leadership all obstacles to completing work
• Meet and exceed departmental expectations for accuracy and productivity

Other Duties

• Contribute subject area expertise to determine processing guidelines and assess if standards have been met
• Complete other projects as assigned
• Perform data entry and verification
• Utilize documented team processes to ensure compliance with departmental standards
• Verify data and processing requirements and make corrections as necessary
• Draft claimant facing communications based on guidance provided
• Communicate directly with claimants by phone or email
