Full Time Rehab Administrative Assistant opportunity!

• This job will be in a nursing home setting and include duties such as but not limited to scheduling, answering calls, faxing documents, communication with patients/residents, and physicians, ordering, preparing documents for insurance, getting physician orders, verifying insurance, a ssist with residents including transportation to and from room, a ssist therapists in the rehab gym.
• Must be computer literate, have organizational skills, and must be an independent worker.
• Seeking a full time Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support to the therapy team in our skilled nursing facility.
• Compenstation is between $15 to $18 an hour based on experience.

The Rehabilitation Aide performs activities essential to promoting the comfort, mobility and independence of residents. This position provides support to the licensed professionals to enable them to effectively perform their duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist with transporting residents to and from therapy.
• Perform other duties, as assigned
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures and participate in facility quality improvement and safety programs.
• Assist therapists with resident evaluations, as instructed.
• Maintain departmental records as directed.
• Assist residents in preparation for treatment.
• Maintain inventories and order equipment, as required.
• Assist licensed therapists with treatment programs designed for each resident, as instructed.
• Support the Company’s commitment to Compassionate Care; project a professional image to foster confidence in the Rehab Program.
• Attend meetings and in-service sessions, as directed.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Minimum of high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Some experience preferred in the care and treatment of residents in a healthcare setting.
• Ability to understand and follow the directions of licensed professionals.
