REPORTING RELATIONSHIP


The Regional Recruiter will report to the Chief People Officer.


Position Summary


The Regional Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing and qualifying candidates and guiding them through the interview process for OVME Studios regionally. This role will be a part of a team that delivers world class innovative solutions in a growth business, while hiring exceptional talent nationwide.


Key Responsibilities


  • Works in partnership with the Talent Acquisition team to execute a seamless candidate experience throughout the interview process.
  • Conduct thorough screening and evaluating of resumes, applications, and candidate profiles to identify individuals who meet the job requirements and align with the company's culture and values.
  • Stay informed of market trends, industry development, and competitor activities related to talent acquisition, and provide insights and recommendations to improve recruitment strategies and initiatives.
  • Promotes OVME's values (Memorable Experiences, Thinking Differently, Trust, Generosity, and Having Fun) to all candidates they interact with.
  • Facilitate candidate assessments, tests, reference checks as required, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal / licensing requirements.
  • Proactively build network for future hiring needs.
  • Conduct initial interviews to assess candidate qualifications, skills, experience, and culture fit.
  • Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to attract a diverse pool of high-quality candidates through job boards, social media, professional networks, referrals, and other relevant channels.
  • Provides recruitment updates to relevant members of the team, as needed.
  • Prepare and present candidates to the hiring manager as needed based on position requirements.
  • Collaborates with hiring managers to understand recruitment needs, job requirements, and desired candidate profiles for Studio positions within the region.
  • Supports the Talent Acquisition Team in ensuring an efficient, effective, and consistent high touch candidate experience, from the first point of contact, that aligns with overall "hire-to-retire" philosophy.
  • Extend offers to selected candidates, negotiate salary, and manage offer acceptance process.


Skills, Knowledge And Expertise


  • Self-starter who can immediately create value and is proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
  • Experience in a Talent Acquisition function or related field.
  • Ability to influence.
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-Disciplined and able to meet deadlines.
  • Able to develop strong, trusting relationships within departments and the organization.
  • BA/BS or combination of experience and/or education.
  • Direct recruiting experience a plus.
  • Thrives in a dynamic environment and can work on various projects simultaneously, requiring strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to think independently and problem solve in the moment.
