Job Description
Reports to the VP, Marketing Synergy and Regional Publicity & Promotions


Responsibilities:


  • Work with outside specialty/targeted consultants, vendors, partners, etc., and collaborate with Contingent Workforce team to ensure all are vetted and paid appropriately.
  • Ensure all recaps from screenings are collected, saved on One Drive and shared with the partnering agencies.
  • Organize logistics of press junkets including maintaining master press lists, coordinating travel for junket press, collecting materials, creating junket binders and press packets, booking hotels and managing rooming lists for talent/press/staff, and collecting and distributing press reactions.
  • Brainstorm and ideate promotional items with approved vendors, as needed.
  • Coordinate social slides for theatrical releases with Cinema Partnerships.
  • Serve as back-up contact for regional field agencies on a day-to-day basis.
  • Coordinate Debut codes for digital screenings for streaming titles with Disney Content Security.
  • Screening Reports Upkeep
  • Manage PGS and GSS online print booking systems for the publicity department, facilitate all screening approvals.
  • Work closely with other departments including Photo/EPK, Digital, Events, National Promotions, Production, etc. as needed.
  • Organize department charts such as: publicity chart, booking report, screening report, playdates, press reactions, festival grid, summer/winter previews etc.
  • Coordinate pre-nom screenings / RSVP lists and assist with DCPs, RSVP lists, drive ons, etc.
  • Assist VP, Marketing Synergy and Regional Publicity & Promotions with administrative duties, including setting up meetings with the publicity team and preparing necessary documents, managing phone lines, maintaining budgets, processing expense reports, processing and coding department invoices, and ordering materials for events (posters, etc.).
  • Manage the Awards inbox.
  • Assist team with all aspects of a PA Tour including logistics, schedules, talent travel, etc.
  • Attend and assist regional and special events as needed (screenings, premieres, junkets, Festivals etc.).
  • Compile and distribute regional screening reports, press breaks and reviews, social media tracking and fun in the field reports.
  • Liaise with Field agencies to setup pre and post nom Award screenings in their markets and collecting recaps.


Requirements:


  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • 1-2 years prior entertainment experience preferred.
  • Must be able to work at least 40 hours per week, events, nights and weekends, as required
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment, while meeting numerous deadlines under pressure.
  • A keen interest in the Publicity space.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
  • Detail-oriented w/ excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and with a team.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.


The hiring range for this position in California is $46,112 to $59,675 per year based on a 40-hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
