Regional Property Manager - Northern Va Region

S.L. Nusbaum Realty Co. is a stable and expanding management company with a proven history, owning, building and managing apartment communities for over a century. We are currently seeking an experienced multifamily Regional Property Manager to lead, manage and oversee a diverse (Class A to C) portfolio of properties. The position will require regular travel to communities within the assigned portfolio. Candidate must provide competent and effective leadership, which will ensure the growth and success of the communities as well as the employees, while also maximizing the overall operating performance and effectiveness of the assigned portfolio. Ideal candidate should have 3-5 years of proven multi-site management.

Responsibilities Include:

• Compliance with policies and procedures as well as relevant laws and regulations.
• Full accountability of budget maintenance and reporting
• Providing superior customer service
• Marketing and lease up new and existing properties
• Clear understanding of target market, increase traffic and closing percentages
• Provide leadership, guidance and delegate priority tasking to staff
• Full accountability for asset appearance
• Maximize the overall operating performance and effectiveness of the communities
• Collections
• Effective and result driven leadership
• Supervise, train and coach on site staff

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated success in increasing occupancy, maintaining strong retention, increasing revenue, and mastering delinquency
• Exceptional leadership, management, and coaching capabilities
• Strong asset/portfolio management and operational experience
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• 3-5 years of multisite experience in property management
• College degree preferred
• Successful experience with lease up properties
• Clear understanding of budgeting and financial management and analysis
