Parsons is seeking an amazingly talented Regional Manager to support our Vehicle Inspection Compliance efforts in partnership with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. In this role, you will lead a team if certified inspectors, administrative and support professionals to ensure compliance with PENNDOT regulations.



What you’ll be doing:

  • Ensures contractual requirements by meeting goals/numbers; contributes to required program reports by supplying needed information and approving text for region’s reporting requirements.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
  • Ensures all office and auditing staff maintains a safe approach to all aspects of their working environment; encourages a safe workplace throughout the region, including Parsons and sub-contractor employees.
  • Maintains good employee morale by providing feedback and encouraging and aiding employee growth.
  • Maintains confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Oversees typical regional office structure, including Overt Managers, Office Administration, Fleet Technicians, and appropriate field staff; Subcontractor liaisons.
  • Maintains open communications and dialog with Parsons sub-contractors; provides sub-contractor feedback and performance evaluations on contractual goals.
  • Maintains regional staff by managing office personnel and auditing department; supplying staff with needed equipment and supplies; addressing employee concerns; ensuring staff knowledge, training, professionalism, and efficiency.
  • Achieves financial objectives by monitoring and controlling budgets; scheduling expenditures; adjusting the supply of covert funds, as needed; providing innovative ways to reduce cost; creative processes; discovering ways of procuring new business.
  • Maintains operations staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, reviewing, and appraising job results; scheduling and assigning employees; and following up on work results.

What required skills you’ll bring:

  • Excellent communication, organization and interpersonal skills
  • Minimum High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 5-8 years of overall experience with at least 3 years of management experience

What desired skills you’ll bring:

  • Previous automotive inspection, repair or relevant service experience

Salary Range:

$68,400.00 - $119,700.00
