Regional Assistant Controller

My client, a booming billion dollar publicly traded services company, is adding a Regional Assistant Controller to their team. MUST BE ABLE TO MOVE TO ANOTHER REGION IN THE US AFTER 12-18 MONTHS. Great benefits, work/life balance. & great opportunity for growth. Up to $90k base. 10% bonus and 10% in STOCKS. Possible sign on bonus. Permanent direct hire.

Responsibilities of the Regional Assistant Controller:

• Reconciliation of all general ledger accounts.
• Monthly completion of a financial forecast.
• Monthly narrative analysis of significant financial variances to budget and forecast.
• Planning and participating in the annual financial budget process.
• Providing training to non-financial personnel on internal control compliance, accounting procedures and financial statement review.
• Rate analysis and review.
• The Regional Assistant Controller will manage the flow of accounting data to/from remote facilities.
• Performing monthly financial close functions through preparation of financial statements for each designated operating location.
• Assisting with quarterly SOX compliance and review.

Qualifications of the Regional Assistant Controller:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Must be able to move to a different region within 12-18 months.
• 2 years of accounting experience.
