Job Description
MUST BE LOCATED IN HAWAII Job Purpose We're in need of a dedicated Recruiter to act as the face of our company by interviewing, hiring, and processing talented individuals on Oahu, Maui, the Big Island, and Kauai. The Recruiter responsibilities include interviewing candidates virtually, screening applications, managing our Applicant Tracking System, acting as the face of Aloha Hospitality Professionals, and supporting with all recruitment efforts. You are a quick learner and enjoy learning new skill-sets You thrive in a high-speed environment You are tech savvy and are quick to learn new software You are a highly motivated individual with a strong desire to develop and grow You need minimal supervision and can thrive on your own given the proper tools and direction Key Responsibilities Create and publish job postings/ads on various platforms using our Applicant Tracking System Screen resumes and job applications Conduct initial phone interviews to create shortlists of qualified candidates Follow up with candidates throughout the hiring process Interview candidates virtually or in-person for a wide range of roles Manage and ensure all proper hiring paperwork is completed successfully and swiftly Track hiring metrics including time-to-hire, time-to-fill and source of hire Design, distribute and measure the results of candidate experience surveys Report on monthly, quarterly and annual hiring plans developed by the Talent Acquisition Manager Network with potential hires through professional groups on social media and during events Work with Talent Acquisition Manager to ensure we are managing our qualification criteria for future employees effectively and successfully Learn and develop interviewing techniques and assessment methods Participate in job and hiring fairs with the support from Talent Acquisition Manager Maintain a database of potential candidates for future job openings Qualifications Bachelors Degree and/or proven experience as a Recruitment Specialist, Recruiter, or similar role 1+ year experience working with a Staffing Firm preferred Experience with job sites like Linkedin and Indeed Knowledge of sourcing techniques Familiarity with applicant tracking systems preferred Strong interpersonal skills Top-tier written and verbal communications skills Fluent and comfortable with Microsoft programs, excel sheets, etc. Compensation This is a commission only position for highly motivated individuals. The salary range for this position is $30,000 - $60,000. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, education, and work location.
