Receptionist (2023-2024 School Year)

Job Title: Receptionist (2023-2024) Department: School or Department Office FLSA Status: Nonexempt - At-Will Position Salary: $14.69 - $18.63 (depending on experience) Calendar: 198 days (July 17 - May 24) SUMMARY Works under supervision and directs calls to destination, receives visitors, and routes messages to appropriate individuals by performing the following duties. Assists the Principal or designee as needed. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Compiles and types statistical reports.
• High school diploma or general equivalency degree (GED) required; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Clerical testing may be administered for this position
• Reads and routes incoming mail. Locates and attaches appropriate file to correspondence to be answered by employer.
• Answers telephone and gives information to callers or routes call to appropriate official and places outgoing calls.
• Makes copies of correspondence or other printed matter.
